| Many thanks to our First Responders for your courage, Compassion & Commitment in service to our community. Our annual banquet is a small way we try to express our appreciation for your service. We offer our continuing support through prayer ministry, pastoral counseling, and this Web link. |

| Life as a first responder family is no walk in the park. First responders — firefighters, police officers, emergency medical technicians, 911 dispatchers, and other first-on-scene government employees — deal with frequent exposure to dangerous and traumatic events. Over time, the spiritual and psychological effects of this exposure can undermine faith, family, and financial stability through depression, survivor's guilt, compassion fatigue, hyper-vigilance.... The list of devastating effects goes on. |
